Append to Post Links Option Was Added to RSS to Facebook Poster

Image
RSSground.com / Aug 19, 2016 10:25 We hasten to inform you that a new feature was added to RSS to Facebook Poster . Fulfilling the suggestion of our good friend Jeff Mills we have added an option which allows you to append post links with text or tag. This can be any affiliate ID, tracking tags or anything else. Just add your parameter in text field and it will be automatically appended to each post link. Let’s see what parameters can be used in this option. Normally we keep in mind query string and fragment . Query string tells a website to display specific content according to the parameters used in this string. For example, pay attention to eBay RSS feeds. Query string starts with question mark (?) . It consists of several parameters separated by ampersand (&) . Each parameter in the string should have a key and its value. So naturally it should look like this: ?param=value, or if there are several parameters like this: ?param1=value&param2=value. I...

How to Improve Your Facebook Ads With Audience Targeting

Image
RSSground.com / Aug 17, 2016 11:49 When it comes to a Facebook ads campaign, it’s essential that you know who your customers are. Not only the ones you already know about – y’know, the ones that pop into your shop on a weekly basis or are regulars on your website or social media pages – but also the ones you haven’t got yet. No, you don’t need Mystic Meg on the case. Facebook can help you find and target that ‘unknown’ audience, and is a whole lot less elusive or ambiguous about the whole thing too. What is Facebook ad targeting? Comparative to females optimistically searching for that ‘tall, dark and handsome’ man on the streets around them, Facebook will search in every corner of its digi-world to find people that are the perfect fit for your business as a customer. However, Facebook has a lot more success. Thanks to its varied selection of targeting options, Facebook will help you find the people you are looking for. All you’ve got to do is tell it who your ideal cust...

10 highly practical startup marketing tips

Image
RSSground.com / Aug 11, 2016 11:37 Sounds like clickbait, right? A “listicle”, questionable facts loosely stitched together only to get you to visit. But what this really is is ten solid, if I say so myself, marketing tips based on almost a decade of technology marketing. I wrote them down because each of them has proven valuable in conversations with people that are marketing startups in one way or another. Here they are, in no particular order. #1. Talk to lots of customers in a short period of time. “Talk to customers” is the piece of advice that has probably the lowest ratio of awareness to real usage ie. everyone knows it and no-one seems to do enough of it. Let me one-up this: speak to a couple of dozen of customers in a short time at least once when you start working with a new company or customer group. I spoke to nearly 40 customers in 3 weeks for an hour each about 1,5 years ago as part of a customer persona exercise and while the result was useful, the process...
